Fort Sumner Schools is having a Sealed Bid Auction!
Public will be allowed to Bid on items between 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Last Day for Bids May 15th by 3 p.m. at the Fort Sumner Municipal School Administration Office, 1001 Sumner Avenue, Fort Sumner, NM 88119. (575) 355-7734.
Bids will be open and awarded at a Special School Board meeting on Monday, May 15th at 6 p.m. at the Fort Sumner Municipal School Music room.
All Items will be sold AS IS. Award will be made to the highest bidder. Awarded Bids must be paid for in cash and picked up on the same day. Receipts for all sales will be provided. Damage to materials or any personal property will not be the responsibility of FSMS. The district will not be responsible for any items left behind. The district will not assist in loading of materials.

Vixen Volleyball Color Fun Run
Rain or Shine! Get ready for bright, colorful, and ridiculously amazing fun!
The Vixen Volleyball Color Fun Run is coming to Old Fort Days! With no winners or official times, the run/walk celebrates health, happiness, and adventure, bringing the community together for approximately five kilometers of colorful fun, in which participants are covered with assorted colors at various places along the course. Proceeds benefit the Vixen Volleyball program to pay for summer camps.
So, bring your selfie sticks, zany personalities, tutu’s, costumes, and enjoy the beautiful morning run/walk at the Bosque Redondo!
Come run/walk in the morning, then spend the day in town for Old Fort Days festivities!!
Registration will begin at 6:30 AM with the run starting at 7:30 AM. We plan on being finished by 9:00 AM so everyone can make it into town for the parade!
