This year, Vixen Volleyball will be honoring Mr. Mike West during our Dig Pink game. The West family has been a steadfast part of the Fort Sumner community for many years, and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to recognize him in this special way as he continues his courageous fight with cancer.
The proceeds from this event will go directly to the West family. We will honor Mr. West before the varsity game on Saturday at approximately 6:30 p.m. This time was chosen thoughtfully so that, if he can attend, he can return home earlier in the evening. Mrs. West shared that it has become difficult for him to get out much, and we want to make this as comfortable as possible for him.
We invite everyone to join us in showing love, support, and respect to Mr. West and his family during this meaningful evening.
